End User Training: COS Funding Opportunities

The Office of the Vice Provost for Research and the IUPUI Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research jointly funds Indiana University’s subscription to COS. COS Funding Opportunities helps locate information from federal agencies, foundations, associations, and corporations for research grants, curriculum development, fellowships, postdoctoral funding, etc. COS Expertise is a database of profiles of more than 500,000 researchers and scholars in the arts, sciences, humanities and other disciplines. The COS Workbench an easy-to-use Web workspace for Expertise profile holders, with many features to help you promote work, manage resumes/CVs, save funding searches and set up alerts for new funding opportunities.

COS is now pleased to offer effective training directly to users in a convenient online medium. This training opportunity is specifically designed for end users such as faculty, post docs, students and staff and is designed to teach the best ways to use COS to find funding opportunities.
